Liv Coleman is Associate Professor of Political Science & International Studies at the University of Tampa.  She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her B.A. from Smith College.  She has been an Advanced Research Fellow at the Harvard Program on US-Japan Relations, and a Foreign Research Scholar at the University of Tokyo's Institute of Social Science.  She is a member of the Mike and Maureen Mansfield Foundation US-Japan Network for the Future, Cohort III (2014-2016).
